Who We Are:
TradeStation is a leading brokerage for self-directed traders seeking a competitive edge. We build tools for the most demanding active traders in the market — especially those who trade multi-leg options, spreads, and futures. Our platforms are built by traders, for traders, with a relentless focus on speed, flexibility, and edge.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a dynamic Sr. Product Manager to join our Active Trader / Customer Experience Product team and to help drive the customer experience for our trading platforms and to help execute on our product strategy.
The ideal candidate will lead the evolution of our complex options and spreads trading experience across web, desktop, and mobile. This role will obsess over multi-leg order entry, spread visualization, execution clarity, and trader confidence — building workflows that help active traders go from idea to execution with fewer clicks and more insight.
You’ll be responsible for the user journey from trade activation to strategy selection and order placement and all the way through post-trade visibility. You will be working cross-functionally with design, engineering, and our most sophisticated clients.
We are a derivatives-focused Product team, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of equity options, futures, and futures options from an active trader perspective and will be able to identify opportunities to increase trade volume, improve post-trading performance visibility, and provide industry leading trading tools for our VIP-level active traders.
This individual will be a great collaborator who understand key product management responsibilities including conducting competitive and swot analysis, contributing to the product vision and strategy, defining the business requirements and priority of product initiatives, understanding customer segmentation, measuring value and KPI impact, reporting regular release updates and adoption to stakeholders, and creating ways to identify customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and pain points, and develop strategies to address the customer needs and to maximize the trading experience and ensure that the products have the most advanced trading tools in the industry
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and sales to define product requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
- Design Best-in-Class Spread Trading Workflows: Deliver intuitive workflows for building, modifying, and executing complex spreads (e.g., verticals, iron condors, calendar spreads) across asset classes.
- Enhance Order Entry and Trade Confidence: Lead enhancements to multi-leg order tickets, risk visualization, fill expectations, and trade confirmations.
- Drive Trader-Centric UX Innovation: Collaborate with design and front-end teams to build elegant, frictionless UX with real-time feedback, margin insight, and strategy clarity.
- Own the Experience from Pre-Trade to Post-Trade: Ensure that traders have clear insight into strategy performance before entering trades and visibility into P&L and position grouping after execution.
- Build for Equities, Options, and Futures: Coordinate across asset classes to ensure consistency and alignment in trade entry workflows, particularly for multi-leg and leveraged trades.
- Engage with Traders and Power Users: Regularly meet with clients, power traders, and internal stakeholders to understand pain points, validate ideas, and shape requirements.
- Define KPIs and Measure Impact: Track usage, adoption, satisfaction, and retention of spread trading features; use data to refine UX and roadmap prioritization.
- Create and communicate the product vision, release changes, user adoption and behavior to all stakeholders to clearly outline the benefits to end-users and the business
- Act as point person to align stakeholders, document progress and demos as needed
