What We Are Looking For:
TradeStation Europe (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) is looking for a Client Experience Representative who is an accomplished financial services professional to execute the Client Experience vision for our multi-asset class offering throughout the European Union. Within this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end client support, including on-boarding, client education, live and simulated trading assistance, platform troubleshooting, and product support. The client base consists of novice and sophisticated traders, as well as Institutional investors – each of whom requires a unique level of support. For TradeStation Europe’s highest-value clients, you will blend executive-level service delivery, technical expertise, and strategic account management – collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Operations – to ensure the client’s ongoing success and engagement across products and platforms. To be effective in this position you will have (or acquire) DSI and FINRA registrations, be trained in all aspects of the business, and have a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences with urgency and empathy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Resolve client inquiries via email, chat, and phone
- Lead onboarding and training for high-value clients, across asset classes, and in partnership with the Sales team
- Assist clients with executing live orders, providing quotes and information regarding live balances and positions
- Provide Order Entry assistance across all asset classes
- Act as a liaison with other TradeStation business units to escalate and resolve urgent client support needs including technical and operational issues
- Account maintenance (historical transaction inquiries, review of commissions, update of account parameters, review of incoming and outgoing financial transactions, etc.)
- Conduct regular reviews with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in partnership with Sales and Marketing teams
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment to align service efforts with the overall business objectives
- Maintain a positive representation of TradeStation through professionalism, courtesy, a commitment to surpassing client expectations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions and practices
The Skills You Bring:
- Prior financial service experience in the European Union
- An intrinsic self-motivated drive to provide top-tier support and deliver exceptional client experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and providing solutions
- Ability to collaborate, learn, and assimilate information from multiple people and sources
- Capable to learn multiple trading platforms to handle technical questions regarding trading as well as software support
- Task oriented with the ability to manage time effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- In depth understanding of U.S. financial markets including Equities, Options, and Futures
- Strong individual contributor who works effectively as a member of a highly functioning team
- Willingness to work non-standard hours and overtime as needed
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and explain them clearly
- Background in electronic trading, algorithmic trading, and/or derivatives preferred
Required Qualifications:
- Resident of The Netherlands
- English-language (Fluent)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or financial industry professional certification
- 5+ years of financial service experience in the European Union with an emphasis on trading support
- FINRA Series SIE, 7, and 63 (or obtainable within 120 days of hire)
- Dutch Securities Institute Certification (or obtainable within 60 days)
