TradeStation is an award-winning online broker and global financial services provider, attracting retail and professional traders and investors from around the world.  TradeStation International (TSIL) is the UK based subsidiary of TradeStation Group, responsible for developing the Group's international business and is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK.
TSIL is seeking an energetic, intuitive individual with strong business development skills to play an integral role in driving and executing TSIL’s growth strategy. This role is UK based reporting directly to the Head of International Sales.  
The Business Development Manager is responsible for analyzing and understanding key business areas and client segments internationally, in order to develop and execute on new relationships that will contribute to TSIL’s sales growth and budgetary targets. He or she will be responsible for seeking out and developing new relationships and partners, working in close collaboration with the TSIL team and US based colleagues.
  • Responsible for developing the pipeline of business partners to support the expansion of TSIL’s international business strategy and growth  
  • Research, identify and establish relationships with new referral partners, broker dealers and 3rd party platforms, to drive client and revenue growth as well as new country go to market strategies and tactics
  • Conduct business due diligence and cost benefit analysis on new business relationships in order to optimize and prioritize TSIL and group efforts where required    
  • Lead on-boarding activities of newly created business relationships, working in conjunction and collaboratively with TradeStation Group departments including Legal, Finance, Client Services and Institutional teams 
  • Understand key regional and country specific competitors, their products, services and positioning  
  • Develop and execute go to market plans for countries and business lines, including TSS brokerage, TCI crypto, TS Global as appropriate  
  • Work with existing referral partners to develop and enhance their business development tactics and channels
  • Proven record of identifying and targeting business development opportunities and relationships to deliver strategic goals, client acquisition and revenues
  • Demonstratable ability in developing and expanding productive revenue generating agency and B2B business channels and relationships
  • Strong research, analytical and technical mindset, with the ability to analyze and interpret active/retail trader industry trends, markets and data
  • Proactive, self-starter with a hands-on, results orientated approach
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, written and presentation skills
  • Capable of managing projects and creating and maintaining new business tracking and results
  • University degree level education
  • Minimum 8 years proven sales / business development track record in financial services
  • Experience in business development within retail, institutional, B2B channels or regulated exchange markets environments would be preferred
  • Relevant experience with on-line equities/futures brokerage and/or trading platforms (eg. ThinkorSwim, Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation, Bloomberg EMS) would be a strong advantage
  • Fluency in a second language (European, Russian) required
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
