TradeStation is an award-winning online broker and global financial services provider, attracting retail and professional traders and investors from all over the world.  We are seeking an energetic, innovative and curious individual who is not afraid to try out new ideas to join our marketing team. He or she will play an integral part in shaping our CRM platforms and evolve our marketing automation strategy reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.
 
The CRM and Marketing Automation Director is responsible for designing and managing our marketing programs and initiatives with a focus on automating and optimizing the onboarding and customer engagement experience of TradeStation users and customers. This will include personalization and optimization of the TradeStation online communication journey from brand awareness and lead acquisition to customer engagement with our products and services.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and optimizing our marketing automation strategy and plans
  • Improve the company’s efficacy of marketing campaigns, bring added value to the current marketing programs using customer data and actionable insights
  • Oversee the segmentation of strategic audiences and personalization of customer onboarding journeys to increase effectiveness in lead conversion and maximize results
  • Implement lead scoring practices to enable higher conversions of quality leads
  • Lead the marketing process of reviewing, interpreting and reporting on marketing automation business metrics and goals
  • Provide recommendations and information to optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion and revenue
  • Work in close partnership with agencies and vendors to ensure unified and impactful messaging and experience that drives sales and loyalty
  • Manage the prioritization of automation and optimization requests and updates for the sales and marketing team
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure automation strategy achieves company goals
  • Evaluate and consolidate our direct communications plans and initiatives that work effectively in each stage of our customers’ lifecycle
  • Utilize a test, measure, learn approach to iterate and optimize campaigns to drive the most optimal results
  • Partner closely with IT to validate the quality of data in our marketing automation platform and CRM system
  • Proactively review industry innovation, stay in touch with upcoming trends, and best practices to make recommendations, improve campaign performance and evolve the marketing automation platform

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Results and data driven individual
  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing automation and optimization strategies and drive results
  • A deep understanding of marketing automation and optimizations best practices, latest methodologies, information architecture, customer segmentation, business KPIs, testing tactics, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ClickDimensions or other non-proprietary marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, ClickFunnels and Hubspot is required
  • Ability to learn fast and educate others on marketing automation best practices as wells as the latest industry trends as a subject matter expert
  • Strong analytical and technical mindset and an ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Capable of managing marketing projects and strategies and tracking and reporting of results independently

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing or a related area
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Must have experience in sales or marketing automation and optimization
  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in conversion rate optimization and marketing automation strategies
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a non-agency marketing function
  • Relevant industry experience would be a strong advantage
  • Experience working with content strategy and content creators to effect change and improve results
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with CRM systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Moderate CRM administration skills
  • Excellent web development and digital design skills-HTML and CSS
