As Director of User Experience Design for TradeStation, you’ll use a combination of product vision leadership and a high bar for excellence. You’ll be accountable for driving collaboration throughout the organization, while advocating an elite quality of design. You will influence our overall corporate strategy and shape the company's vision.
This Director must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a creative problem solver at heart. You are comfortable with technically complex problems that need to be solved and communicated with clarity. A robust product design sensibility is needed to turn complex workflows into simple and elegant solutions.
As a design leader, you are responsible for defining and driving the future of TradeStation’s design of complex UX ecosystems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what is possible. You also have a clear vision of the future of UX and possess the courage necessary to implement forward-thinking design into products customers love and use daily.
You will demonstrate your passion for outstanding User Experience and Product Design to guide both research and design processes, develop and grow talented members of your team, and empower your teams to create the best possible experiences across all TradeStation apps and experiences.
  • Understand the business arena, customer needs, technology trends, and the competitive fintech landscape
  • Research industry best practices and provide actionable insights
  • Spend time in the market with customers and vendors to understand opportunities or issues and find innovative solutions to differentiate and grow the product
  • Work closely with stakeholders, product managers, marketing managers, and development teams to design highly intuitive product features that exceed customer expectations
  • 10 years of experience in UX in a senior strategy or product design role
  • 5 years of experience leading teams, solving design problems, and delivering product solutions
  • A portfolio demonstrating experience in leading large, complex web and mobile product designs
  • Experience managing distributed internal design teams and external agencies
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience
  • Expertise in Fintech in the areas of investing, trading, wealth management, or asset management a plus
