As a TradeStation Internal Tools Engineer, you will specialize in migrating, configuring and supporting Jira/Confluence and ServiceNow in the cloud and on-perm. You will be designing, planning, and implementing cloud solutions across these product stacks. You will help ensure we are responsive to demands, help troubleshoot issues and work with business owners and/or stakeholders to determine growth plans.

*Costa Rica candidates:  Schedule is Monday-Friday 6-3pm or 7-4pm*
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Be the subject matter expert, the owner, and the go-to resource for Jira Software, ServiceNow, and Confluence
  • Ownership and administration of Atlassian DevOps applications - Jira Software and Confluence
  • Ownership and administration of ServiceNow ITSM modules
  • Interfacing with build and release Engineers on integration with the CI/CD stack
  • Ensure application uptimes and best practices in application resiliency
  • Lead and deliver infrastructure transformations and migrations by creating, implementing, and supporting scalable, high-performing cloud solutions
  • Work with Business and Development teams to analyze needs; create new Jira Software and ServiceNow projects; employ automation to provide tool usability and drive adoption
  • Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements
  • Building automation workflows, business rules, and notifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 
  • 3 years of experience in a JIRA and ServiceNow admin role
  • Must be familiar with JIRA and Confluence admin Interface and admin functions, be able to perform all aspects of ownership and administration without supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow setup and administration
  • In-depth knowledge of JIRA searches, JQL, reporting capabilities, dashboards, and add-ons that expand their functionality, and workflows
  • JavaScript programming language experience
  • Must have proven experience as a ServiceNow administrator with a deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices
  • Advanced skill in configuring and supporting ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (preferred)
