TradeStation is an award-winning online broker and global financial services provider, attracting retail and professional traders and investors from all over the world.  We are seeking an energetic, passionate and intuitive marketing individual with exceptional leadership and communication skills who challenge the traditional thinking and stimulate innovative approaches to marketing. He or she will play an integral part in our acquisition strategy, marketing plans development and implementation, reporting directly to our Director of Marketing.
 
The Marketing Manager is responsible for analyzing and understanding key business areas and consumer segments in order to develop cohesive marketing strategies and plans that will help us achieve our sales targets. He or she will be responsible of the top of the funnel through lead acquisition strategies working in collaboration with our agency partners and with cross-functional areas within the organization.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Responsible for planning, implementing and optimizing our marketing strategy and plans of assigned business areas
  • Create effective, compelling positioning, messaging, and campaigns that drive new client acquisition
  • Develop, lead, and execute the marketing strategies and plans for digital and social media channels
  • Oversee the adherence to our brand guidelines and architecture throughout all marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness and equity
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team members and outside agencies in forming and implementing strategies and plans
  • Direct marketing programs that will generate interest in our different product offerings
  • Gather, organize, and analyze information such as consumer behavior, market trends, competitive information, etc. that will guide our marketing plans
  • Develop and evolve our target segments based on data, insights and internal/external tools
  • Understand the products and services offerings and approach of key competitors
  • Develop and conduct marketing research initiatives to identify trends, behaviors and insights that will lead to effective marketing initiatives
  • Establish effective working relationships with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of business and marketing plans
  • Develop and evolve our target segments based on data, insights and internal/external tools
  • Responsible for budget planning of assigned areas, spending control and reporting
  • Measure and report performance of all campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Create and evolve dynamic marketing dashboards linking business metrics to marketing KPIs
  • Share and report on the effectiveness of marketing plans across different audiences within the organization
  • Work closely with the CRM and SEO team to guarantee to optimize user experience from the top of the sales funnel and deliver on key metrics
  • Optimize tools and resources from our agency partners to ensure that efficiencies and effectiveness of all marketing programs
  • Lead creative development process including briefing, evaluating and cost-effective production with internal creative team and agencies
  • Overall responsibility for management of the brand throughout all marketing plans
  • Identify and analyze potential strategic partner relationships with influencers, thought leaders, etc.
  • Utilize a test, measure, learn approach to iterate and optimize campaigns to drive the most optimal results
  • Proactively review industry innovation, stay in touch with upcoming trends, and best practices to make recommendations, improve campaign performance and evolve the marketing automation platform

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Experienced in strategic marketing planning, budgeting and reporting in the US market
  • Strong analytical and technical mindset and an ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Creative thinker, innovative marketer, self-motivated
  • Results oriented. Proven record of leading marketing campaigns across different consumer touch points that led to achieve business results
  • Skilled in direct response marketing with ability to craft integrated marketing strategies across all channels and touch points, including website, digital, TV, social and direct marketing
  • Adept in digital and social media strategies, campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to develop marketing plans and strategies
  • Intuitive, proactive, collaborative, leader, driver, creative problem solver, versatile, and “Thrives under Pressure” should be all words that describes you
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time
  • Capable of managing marketing projects and strategies and tracking and reporting of results independently
  • Excellent project management skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • BA/BS degree required, preferably in marketing or a related area; MBA is a plus
  • 8-10 years of proven track record within integrated, multi-channel marketing, demand generation campaigns
  • Proven track record in developing marketing strategies and plans. Ideally a mix of traditional and digital
  • Proven track record in identifying, analyzing and utilizing consumer insights and segments
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint (required)
  • Relevant industry experience would be a strong advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading and working with advertising and media agencies
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing plans
  • Experience creating and maintaining marketing dashboards to track campaign results
