The Operations Specialist is responsible for providing developer partnership support for TradeStation and its education community needs. This position requires the ability to onboard new developer accounts, pay invoices, and troubleshoot issues that may arise within the offering. Experience with Sitecore and Wordpress is preferred.
As a secondary responsibility, this individual should have great writing skills, including the ability to edit and post educational material to the TS.com and YouCanTrade websites, and to the product help documentation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage users in Sitecore and other CMS systems
  • Run queries from CRM
  • Reconcile subscriptions and troubleshoot issues that may impact subscribers or developer tools in Sitecore
  • Provide services to developer partnerships, including review/approve applications, monthly invoicing and facilitating individual requests
  • Create, plan, and maintain high-quality help system documentation for TradeStation market analysis software tools
  • Upload and update TradeStation Trading Tools projects
  • Document new and existing software features in a clear and concise manner using industry standards
  • Identify developer end-user help issues and respond with innovative solutions
  • Coordinate efforts to produce technical documentation
  • Provide services to developer partnerships, including review/approve applications, monthly invoicing and facilitating individual requests
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Sitecore experience is highly preferred for this role
  • Must have managed a software help system team
  • Strong technical background
  • Possess and demonstrate impeccable writing, spelling and grammar skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of financial markets, financial analysis software, or programming languages is a major plus
  • Strong knowledge of the Wordpress backend is also preferred
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • 2-3 years of Technical operations experience
  • Experience with document information architecture (e.g. DITA) and management systems (e.g. XML-based information architecture content management)
