What We Are Looking For:
TradeStation is seeking a Product Data Analyst to join our online brokerage product management team, Data, Insights and Governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to support the development of effective product strategies. This position will require strong data skills, including proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools. The Product Data Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, finance, marketing, and sales to provide insights and support that drive product innovation and growth. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Conduct research and analysis on market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth  
• Collect, and analyze data from multiple sources, including internal data sets and external data sources, to generate insights  
• Maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to cross-functional teams  
• Identify data analytics needs, and collaborate with product management and business teams on data and analysis needs 
• Monitor and track product performance metrics to measure the success of product launches and customer feedback loop  
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and research to support strategic decision-making  
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization 
• Execute the asks from stakeholders on any efforts related to data analysis, gathering data sources, and providing on any reporting needs  
• Execute on the business needs with the collection, analysis, and presentation of data to inform product teams and business
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
• Develop and maintain documentation related to business intelligence processes and tools

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as data science, statistics, or business analytics 
• 5+ years' experience with strong analytical skills, including experience in statistical analysis, data visualization, and communicating technical results
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Sigma
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Experience working modern data warehousing tools such as Snowflake or Databricks
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams  

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in the online brokerage or related financial services industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience providing data insights and building BI dashboards
• Knowledge in managing structured and unstructured data in data systems such as Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, etc.
• Able to drive and execute on all aspects of data analysis projects
