What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for driven individuals to help us to create a unified product offering that can provide an accessible gateway into trading that will empower our customers to grow with TradeStation. This is a unique opportunity to rework TradeStation's proven core brokerage technology into a modern, and simple experience for current and future customers. This team will be building out a modern tech stack for the future of TradeStation's consumer-focused (retail) application products.

The engineering team works on developing software solutions to our infrastructure problems. Individuals who are experienced software engineers and cloud infrastructure experts will be building a software-defined infrastructure stack on top of Kubernetes. You will be building a platform for the development teams to build amazing experiences for our customers.   

What You'll Be Doing:

• Understand, execute, and embody Site Reliability Engineering principles
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for development teams to utilize
• Build necessary guardrails to keep services operational and secure
• Build templates and tools to accelerate development
• Support teams to help them bring their applications to the cloud
• Build service monitoring, alerting, and incident response automation and procedures
• Work in a DevOps environment, where development teams own both the development and operational responsibilities

The Skills You Bring:

• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes abstractions and underlying mechanisms
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Containers, Docker files, managing container images
• Extensive experience in Helm Charts, Linux Administration, Monitoring, and Observability
• Experience building cloud infrastructure-as-code with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with one or more modern general-purpose programming languages (e.g. Python, Golang)
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure on one or more cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent communication skills to assist developers in building Cloud Native applications
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completed at least 1 year of Computer Science/Engineering or has equivalent work experience
• Must have 3+ years of relevant professional experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
• AWS Cloud networking – VPC, Subnetting, NAT Gateway, PrivateLink
• Experience with distributed and scalable cloud architectures and techniques
• Experience managing Linux deployments in the cloud
• Experience securing cloud deployments
• Advanced understanding of network and internet technologies (e.g. DNS, TLS, TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSockets)
