We are seeking a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for infrastructure and systems both within the data center and in the cloud.  This role is responsible for implementing technical solutions to solve business requirements and maintains high availability of existing systems and infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will also be responsible for executing projects and coordinating with various teams for design and implementation.  The Systems Engineer will partner with various departments to help understand, prioritize and define the business needs, while working as a member of an Agile development team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Build systems that are scalable, automated, and well-documented, and train others to take on operations
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Design, implement and manage projects as a technical lead
• Review and evaluate existing technologies in the industry and how they can be applied to TradeStation
• Provide knowledge transfer and assistance to team members as needed

The Skills You Bring:

• Experience in scripting and automating tasks (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Experience in creating and managing cloud and SaaS services
• Strong experience with Windows systems such as Active Directory, DFS, clustering, etc.
• Experience deploying to Kubernetes
• Experience using AZURE DevOps and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Working knowledge of networks, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory environments
• Strong analytical, technical, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong experience in troubleshooting application behavior and performance
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills and the ability to prioritize
• Ability to take projects from conception to completion
• Team player who can work flexible hours

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience working with agile tools like Jira, Git, and Confluence
• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer working with large enterprise systems and in cloud environments
• Ability to lead large projects end to end, including writing technical requirements and deployments
• Applicants must be familiar with trading/securities industry concepts, practices, and procedures
• A wide degree of technical proficiency, creativity, and latitude is expected

Desired Qualifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect or other cloud-related certifications
