The AP Specialist will complete payments and control expenses by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices for various entities, entering G/L codes, and routing for approval.  Payments to vendors are initiated and processed.  Assisting with monthly close and providing information to internal and external auditors. Responsibilities may require broad and comprehensive knowledge of company policies and operations.
  • Review and process invoices for payments for various entities
  • Processing of payments
  • PO matching
  • Prepare journal entries and assist with AP accruals during month end close
  • Processing of intercompany billing
  • Assist with gathering data and information requests in connection with external audits
  • assist with 'ad-hoc' requests
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and organization skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and other Microsoft office products
  • Highly motivated, a self- starter and a team player
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting is required
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, preferred
  • Financial services industry experience, is preferred
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading & writing)
