What We Are Looking For:
At TradeStation, our interns are key players in our daily innovation and have the opportunity to make big contributions. We use advance technologies to provide our customers with enhanced market analysis tools, order execution and educational resources. Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment.
The IT Engineering team provides design, implementation, and support for all infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. As Tradestation continues to grow, the business and our customers require faster and more reliable changes while also adapting to new markets and technologies. With this need, we need to develop more automated solutions and an infrastructure by code approach to reduce time to deployment and eliminate manual tasks.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist with projects to create automation scripts and playbooks to improve team efficiency
- Assist the team with evaluating, designing, and implementing automation solutions to meet project requirements and improve team performance.
- Assist with building out and supporting needed infrastructure to implement automation

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, MIS or a related technical field
- Ability to pick up new programming/scripting languages quickly
- Working knowledge of IT and infrastructure
Desired Qualifications:
- Scripting languages suitable for automation (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.)
- Agile Development
