Intern projects include working with various teams in the Securities Lending department to assist with ongoing work responsibilities and projects. In this role the intern will be responsible for securities lending conduit trading assistance across multiple domestic asset classes, covering client short positions, approving short locates, monetizing Fully Paid Lending positions and identifying arbitrage opportunities related to effective cash management opportunities. What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with other Securities Lending flow traders and help drive revenue, trading commissions, financing revenues and short balances
- Work closely with Business Management and Technology teams to identify enhancements that will streamline the workflow and enhance the client experience
- Liaise with back and middle office teams on issues such as settlement, control, P&L, and regulatory, etc.
- Identify market trends with a focus on capitalizing on market events

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Strong Excel experience with pivot table knowledge is required; ability to convert text file reports into Excel files would be helpful
- Experience with other Microsoft products (Word and PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of the securities and crypto industries
