As a System Engineer supporting our operations and development teams, you will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of business and operations projects owning and maintaining the finished product.  You will work alongside other System Engineers, Network Engineers and Software Developers in automating release processes and other development support projects. The Data Center environment will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for large scale automation, infrastructure and cloud technologies. 
  • Gather technical requirements to ensure project success
  • Create documentation of the physical and logical design
  • Create implementation and testing plans
  • Automate the deployment processes whenever possible
  • Work in a team environment
  • Develop, implement and support technical solutions
  • Work close with other teams to ensure best practices
  • Control project full life cycle from engineering, implementation to production support
  • Complete ownership of production systems and projects
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings, weekends and holidays, sometimes with little advanced notice, and on–call duties as needed

  • Thoroughly familiar with administering Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Solid understanding of design, operations and administration for System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Skilled in working with AWS Cloud and/or Azure Cloud via API/Command Line
  • Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi design, configuration and administration
  • Hands on experience with Fiber Channel SAN technologies (Hitachi)
  • Proficient in creating scripts to automate process using one or more of the following: Ansible, PowerShell, Perl, Python, php, bash
  • Experience building web interfaces with aspx interface
  • Knowledge of Docket and Kubernetes implementations
  • Skilled in providing user instructions with various media including presentations, video trainings, and documentation
  • Hands-on experience moving workloads into the cloud
  • Solid understanding of system monitoring approaches, logging concepts, data mining and regular expressions
  • Thoroughly familiar with the OSI Model and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Proven skills owning a project and overseeing it to completion including the documentation, implementation, testing and ongoing support of the solution
  • Highly committed to cloud capacity reporting and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills

  • 5 years minimum experience working with Linux and Microsoft Environments
  • Expertise with scripting languages is required
  • Experience working in an enterprise server environment
  • Experience converting workloads from legacy environments to cloud

Certifications in any of the following:
  • MCSE Private Cloud
  • AWS DevOps Engineer
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • VMware Certified Professional VCP-Cloud
  • VMware Certified Design Expert VCDX-Cloud
