We are actively looking for the right Head of Product Management to lead the evolution of our existing and new products. We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead a talented team of product managers responsible for understanding, defining, and prioritizing the future of our products to support our business growth plan. It involves working closely with various teams across the organization, including technology, project management, customer service, business operations, and marketing, while keeping the TradeStation products aligned to customer needs, differentiated, and cutting edge. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role presents an ideal opportunity for someone to influence TradeStation's strategic vision and impact the company's future success.
  • Effectively manage a team of product managers responsible for TradeStation's business product strategy, design, UX, product analytics, product roadmaps, and product success
  • Create strategic plans for enhancing our products, strengthen our competitive edge and promote company growth
  • Responsible for building a data-driven and KPI-based culture that defines the success of our products with measurable goals
  • Spearhead the planning and execution of product vision and strategy and the development of cohesively aligned product plans and roadmaps
  • Ensure that TradeStation products follow a cohesive vision that resonates with our target customers' expectations
  • Lead product demos, product presentations at events, and product reviews
  • Review and coordinate product marketing positioning, marketing product content, and product communications
  • Enjoy meeting and interacting directly with current and prospective customers to understand the product's value and benefits while simultaneously sourcing feedback and assessing their experience with the product
  • Maintain close familiarity with the online brokerage and Fintech industries to identify trends and opportunities for innovative products
  • Proven experience leading a product team and building out the vision of the product for a company
  • Expert knowledge of the trading and investing industry, products, services, technology, and the various business models
  • Understanding of the online brokerage competitive landscape, its trends, and evolving business models
  • Experience with multiple investment asset classes, namely, equities, options, futures, and cryptocurrencies
  • Understanding of product strategy and product development for front end, middle and backend offices, and API integrations
  • Experience with international online trading and investing products and the competitive landscape is a plus
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
  • Team player who can work flexible hours
  • Experience and familiarity with marketing and advertising, a plus
  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills
  • A rich blend of analytical, creative, strategic, and tactical talents
  • Bachelor's degree (Master's/MBA a plus)
  • 10+ years' experience in a high-ranking Product Management position, preferably as a Head of Product in a complex business setting
  • A suitable candidate will also have diverse experience in product marketing, product innovation, or Fintech startups
