What We Are Looking For:
We are currently seeking a Principal Product Owner to work with our Senior Development Managers to deliver legendary technology to our business partners through our order execution systems. The position will be responsible for partnering with the Product Management team to help understand, prioritize and define the customer needs while working as a member of an Agile development team. Applicants must have expertise in trading /securities industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Candidates are expected to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish a variety of complicated tasks and goals. A wide degree of technical proficiency, creativity, and latitude is expected.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to understand the customer and market needs
- Translate the customer and market needs into product requirements
- Work within an Agile development team to document features, understand and optimize functionality
- Manage the product life cycle from conception through release and beyond
- Evaluate and prioritize features
- Evaluate and invent new product ideas
- Enjoy spending time in the market to understand the opportunities or issues, and find innovative solutions

- Optimize team productivity and minimize overhead
The Skills You Bring:
- Experience with real-time trading systems, order routing, and margining systems
- Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, and NFA trading regulations
- Experience with international teams
- Experience with trading platforms
- Strong analytical, technical, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
- A team player who can work flexible hours
- Innovation oriented
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s/MBA a plus)
- 7+ years of experience as a product manager, business analyst, development manager, and/or technology architect in the securities industry
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with projects utilizing a cloud provider (such as AWS)
- Experience with projects utilizing stream processing and/or real-time workload

- Pay Range (US) $150-170K (Countries outside of the US have differing ranges in accordance with local labor markets)
