POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary purpose of this role is to be responsible for performing periodic security assessments, the gathering and delivery of metrics, and monitoring of TradeStation’s security solutions.  The Junior Security Analyst will also be responsible for the review and updating of security documentation when necessary.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform periodic security control assessments/reviews in accordance with security plans
  • Review, update and develop all required security documentation
  • Conduct continuous health monitoring of security tooling and control implementations
  • Develop and compile metrics, dashboards, and analytics for executive-level audiences
  • Support for project assignments with strong and effective communication, time management and collaboration skills
  • Assist with security testing, and other security related initiatives as they arise

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • General knowledge of technology, security best practices and compliance requirements (PCI, SOX, GDPR)
  • General knowledge of security concepts including: Segregation of Duties, Data Classification and Least Privilege
  • Knowledge or experience developing documentation and conducting reviews
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize work in a quickly changing business environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively interact with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated personal initiative in maintaining a continuous level of professional knowledge in areas of technology, security and risk management
  • Usage of MS Office products

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 2 years of Information Security or Information Technology work experience is required
  • An acknowledged industry security certification such as Security+, or CSA+ is a plus
