What We Are Looking For:
Experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and manage our IT operations, focusing on daily operational activities, incident management, change management, and IT governance. The ideal candidate will lead a team responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with IT policies, procedures, and industry standards.
What You'll Be Doing:
IT Governance - Ensure compliance with ITSM process (i.e., change, incident, knowledge)
- Assist in the design, implementation, and managing of a comprehensive IT governance framework, aligning it with business objectives and industry best practices
- Manage the IT policies, procedures, and standards-aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of IT controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT governance practices and identify areas for improvement
Global Operations Leadership - Lead the incident response process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of outages and service disruptions
- Utilize metrics and KPIs to bring visibility of our IT operations to the organization
- Ensure compliance of policies regarding Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
- Act as liaison with Business partners on incident management and change management
- Motivate the team through coaching, career planning, and setting individual objectives
The Skills You Bring:
- Understanding and working knowledge of data center infrastructure environments (e.g., operating system, security, network, voice, end user, and server-related applications)
- Well-organized and exceptional prioritization skills
- Experience working on IT operation
- Proficiency in ITIL and IT Service Management practices (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.).
- Experience engaging in high-severity production incidents and communicating status
- Ability to ensure that contracts align with IT governance principles, compliance requirements, and organizational goals
- Vendor relationship management skills, including vendor selection, performance evaluation, and contract renewal
- Effective oral and written communication skills and knowledge of IT service delivery concepts
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and network technologies
- An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet these minimum requirements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals
- Experience in setting departmental goals, and optimizing operational efficiency
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- ITIL or COBIT certificate
- 3-5 years of experience working on IT operations
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and standards affecting IT governance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX)
- Experience in leading IT governance projects from initiation to completion
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or ITIL certifications
