POSITION SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager/Specialist in SEO and Web Analytics is responsible for managing and executing marketing programs and initiatives with a focus on website, app store and search engine optimizations.  This will include the management and execution of tactical SEO strategies to improve search engine visibility, and web traffic, as well as on-site testing and optimization to improve user experience and conversion rates. Candidate should be a detail-oriented individual with excellent multi-tasking skills to oversee jobs throughout the entire marketing cycle acting as the liaison between Creative, IT, Web, Education, Product Management and other departments to facilitate workflow and meet deadlines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of our website testing metrics, KPIs, dashboards and other ad hoc reporting.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to exceed company goals for organic search, as well as articulate POVs on the changing landscape of SEO.
  • Develop clear and concise reports and presentations to deliver results and findings that will drive strategic SEO decisions.
  • Champion business needs and goals into effective A / B and multivariate website test plans, including defining test criteria and method, metrics, creating and executing tests, and recommendations based on outcomes. Ensure learning’s are properly documented and incorporated into future activities. Test assets include web pages, email templates, offers, content and other applicable types of digital assets.
  • Manage marketing campaigns and initiatives through project life cycle as needed. Campaigns could include email, print, digital, video, website, PR or social media components and will require collaboration with internal designers and/or agencies.
  • Manage the prioritization of optimization requests and updates for the team
  • Review and interpret web statistics and transactional data with the objective of identifying trends, correlations, and user behavior supporting business analysis efforts and provide actionable recommendations and information to optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion and revenue.
  • Improve overall visibility and user experience of website via SEO and testing/optimization strategies

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Understanding of current online marketing best practices
  • Capable of managing marketing projects and strategies independently
  • A deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research methodologies, information architecture, search engine algorithms, and ranking factors to improve the user’s experience
  • Ability to educate others on SEO related best practices, and the latest trends as a subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated ability to develop A/B testing and optimization strategies for websites and drive results
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry is desirable but not required
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics/Tag Manager/Google Webmaster expertise and Microsoft suite of products

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications, marketing or a related area
  • Must have project management experience in marketing
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in conversion rate optimization or website optimization
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing and executing website SEO strategies
  • Experience working with content strategy and content creators to effect change and improve results
  • Experience working with website testing and analytics tools such as Google Optimize, Optimizely, Google Analytics etc.
