TradeStation is an online brokerage company that provides a proprietary, award winning trading platform for active financial market traders. TradeStation continues to grow and along with it so does the Network Infrastructure. We are looking for Network Engineers that have a passion to plan, design and build network topologies, tools and automation in the areas of Routing, Switching, Multicast and SDN. As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for the planning, design and implementation of network solutions for the business and operations with a very strong emphasis on automation. You will work alongside other Network Engineers, System Engineers and Software Developers. This fast-paced environment will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for large scale networks and network automation.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Gather technical requirements to ensure project success
  • Create documentation of the physical and logical design
  • Create implementation and testing plans
  • Automate processes and implementations
  • Train staff to implement and administer solutions
  • Provide Tier 3 Support when needed
  • Work within a team environment
  • Responsibilities require on-call rotation, working the occasional evening, weekend and holiday, sometimes with little advanced notice

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • In-depth knowledge of the design, administration and operations of the following network services:
    • L3 at the Access Layer
    • OSPF, BGP, EIGRP
    • PIM, MDP
    • Wireless Technologies
    • OVT, VXLAN and STT

  • Provide automation and processes for the following administration functions:
    • Backup and restore of configuration files
    • Implement configurations and roll backs
    • Support, resolve and document network incidents
    • Maintain network documentation

  • Highly committed to network monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Solid understanding of packet analysis
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Python scripting
  • Knowledge of NSX or SDN a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in an enterprise, mission critical and low latency Cisco network environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • One or more of the following Certifications:
    • CCNP Cloud
    • CCNP Routing and Switching
    • CCNP Data Center
    • CCDP
    • CCIE
