Sales & Business Administration Executive

TradeStation International Ltd (TIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TradeStation Group, Inc. and is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to act as an introducing broker to Affiliated and Non-Affiliated brokers.
 
This London based Sales role is primarily focused on new customer acquisition in the UK and English-speaking countries in the EEA block and involves:

  1. Direct Sales to prospects and development of channels to gain new prospects, focused on TradeStation Global (TSG) and TradeStation Securities offerings to the active / professional retail customer base
  2. Sales administration activities related to TSG and TSS business development

The position requires close working with Client Services, Marketing, Support and other functional areas in TradeStation in the US, our third-party Referral Agents and non-affiliated broker partner Interactive Brokers UK.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Contacting warm prospects and converting them into customers, ensuring they open and fund their brokerage account
  • Meeting sales targets and objectives
  • Explaining the features and benefits of the TSG/TSS products
  • Walking prospects through and resolving issues around account opening
  • Liaising with Interactive Brokers as required to on-board TSG customers
  • Developing and managing campaigns to gain new prospects and customers
  • Creating commission and related reports and liaising with TIL Referring Agents
  • Local market and customer analysis and research 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Demonstratable sales success in calling and closing leads within the financial markets sector
  • Financial markets and asset class knowledge – Equities, Futures, Forex, Options
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills – including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint; experience using Salesforce a positive
  • Ability to work within a small team 
  • Language skills – fluency in one European language and/or Russian an advantage
  • Experience within an (on-line) brokerage business an advantage  

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate with financial markets experience, ideally in on-line brokerage or similar sector
  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience
