Sales Executive - Online Brokerage

TradeStation International Ltd (TIL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TradeStation Group, Inc. and is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to act as an introducing broker to Affiliated and Non-Affiliated brokers.
 
This London based Sales role requires a motivated and driven self-starter to focus on new customer sales in the UK and across the EEA block, involving:
  1. Direct and telephone-based sales to warm leads
  2. Development of channels to gain new prospects, focused on TradeStation Global (TSG) and TradeStation Securities (TSS) brokerage products and service focused on the active retail, professional and day-trading community
  3. Sales administration activities related to the business development, CRM and management reporting
  4. Working as part of the TradeStation International team and interaction with other functional areas including Client Services, Marketing, Support as well as our third-party Referral Agents in the UK / EEA and non-affiliated broker partner Interactive Brokers UK

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contacting warm prospects and converting them into customers, through the opening and funding their brokerage account
  • Meeting sales targets and objectives
  • Explaining the features and benefits of the TSG/TSS products
  • Walking prospects through and resolving issues around account opening
  • Liaising with TradeStation International’s Referring Agents and Interactive Brokers (UK) to on-board TSG customers
  • Developing campaigns to gain new leads and customers
  • Creating and maintaining business management reports
  • Local market and customer analysis and research

REQUIREMENTS - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Demonstratable sales success in calling and closing financial product leads and pipeline management
  • Minimum of 3 years within the financial services / markets sector
  • Ideally experience in on-line/CFD brokerage, trading platform/analytics software, or similar sales environment
  • Good understanding of listed markets and traded OTC markets - Equities, Futures, Options, Forex and CFDs
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills – including proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint; experience with CRMs / Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to work within a small team

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate level with financial markets experience
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Language skills – fluency in one European language an advantage

SALARY:
Based on experience:
Circa £35,000-40,000 + performance-based bonus and company benefits package
