What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Manager, focusing primarily on equities, options and futures trading to work within a team of skilled product managers responsible for our brokerage products. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product Management. It presents an ideal opportunity for someone experienced in the retail brokerage space, who is excited to stay on top of industry trends and our customer needs, create strategic plans for enhancing our trading products, strengthen our competitive edge, and achieve company growth.
The ideal candidate is an expert cross-functional collaborator that holds themselves to a high standard as they execute key PM responsibilities including conducting research on new/improved tools and processes, conducting swot analysis, creating product vision and strategy, defining the business requirements and priority of product initiatives, and creating ways to identify the needs of business teams and our customers. This role needs a strong communicator who is an organized team player that knows how to create a strategic plan for enhancing products and services in ways that promote stability and growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work with TradeStation Europe to implement roadmap requirements
  • Assess and present product opportunities in the online brokerage trading space focusing primarily on equities, options, and futures products
  • Collaborate with the brokerage team to define the company's product vision and product differentiation strategy for our futures brokerage products
  • Create and maintain product roadmaps in your product areas
  • Manage the process of researching and analyzing industry and technology trends and the competitive landscape in the futures broker-dealer space
  • Leverage TradeStation's AI-forward toolset — including Claude Cowork, SpecDev, and enterprise LLM platforms — to accelerate product development, specification writing, BRD generation, and operational efficiency
  • Drive AI adoption across the product team by championing use cases where tools like SpecDev and Cowork reduce time-to-delivery, improve documentation quality, and enhance stakeholder communications
  • Partner with engineering and operations to evaluate emerging AI capabilities and embed them into TradeStation's brokerage products and internal PM workflows
  • Spend time in the market with customers and vendors to understand opportunities or issues and find innovative solutions to differentiate and grow our futures products
  • Manage and monitor the product life cycle by collaborating with our Technology, Operations, Compliance, Vendors and Marketing teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders and our marketing team to optimize marketing messages and optimize product positioning
  • Create detailed business requirements documents and work closely with the development teams to ensure products meet the business needs
  • Evaluate and suggest improvement to existing business processes
  • Participate in incident calls that occur due to outages, network issues, or client impacting events and aid in resolution paths

The Skills You Bring:

  • Excellent at executing Product Management responsibilities, and best product development practices in an agile organization
  • Strong knowledge of brokerage middle office systems and functions
  • In depth understanding of markets, trading interfaces, order management systems, trading middle office and back-office systems, US brokerage regulation and operations
  • Strong analytical and data-driven business goal mindset. Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with AI tools including Claude Cowork, SpecDev, and enterprise AI platforms to streamline daily workflows, generate product specifications, and accelerate delivery
  • Experience integrating AI into the product development lifecycle — including AI-assisted spec generation via SpecDev, workflow automation via Cowork, prompt engineering, and AI-driven competitive and market research
  • Results-driven with a "get things done" attitude
  • Constant self-improvement, permanent learning, and intellectual curiosity is required
  • A passion for learning about innovative trends in Fintech
  • Outstanding communicator and collaborator
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
  • An advocate for simple and effective product designs and customer experience
  • Team player who can work flexible hours and must be willing to travel as necessary
  • Brokerage back office experience a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience as a product manager or product owner in the securities industry with a focus on retail trading products
  • Familiar with European trading operations and regulation
  • Background in brokerage products, operations, and risk management
  • Experience with industry vendors such as FIS (phase 3 and GMI), DevExperts, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's/MBA a plus
  • FINRA Certifications Series 7 and Series 3 a plus

  • Pay Range (US) $145-160K (Countries outside of the US have differing ranges in accordance with local labor markets)
