What We Are Looking For:
TradeStation Europe (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) is looking for an Outside Sales Representative who is an accomplished financial services professional to be responsible for executing the overall sales vision for our multi-asset class offering in France. Within these countries, the candidate will focus on acquiring high-value customers in the professional and retail segments via outbound sales calls to financial and non-financial businesses, warm marketing-generated retail leads, and in-person meetings internationally. The ideal candidate is a high-impact individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, results-driven approach, and a proven history of building business relationships with Institutional customers in France.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identify, prospect, lead, and win new business with Institutional clients aligned with the firm’s strategic goals
- Discern and prioritize high-value retail prospects within the TradeStation pipeline, affording them personalized, concierge-style onboarding experiences
- Bring a consultative sales mindset, and lead discovery efforts, to uncover prospect pain points to tailor a TradeStation solution
- Provide demos of TradeStation’s platforms and products via web– and in–person meetings
- Guide Institutional clients through the intricacies of account setup, funding, and the initial software installation process in partnership with the Client Experience team
- Serve as a high-level point of contact for customer support, and liaison with other TradeStation business units, to escalate and resolve urgent client support issues
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance consultations with key accounts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as identify upsell / cross-sell opportunities
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, adjust sales plans, and contribute to customer retention strategies
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales efforts with the overall business objectives
- Maintain a positive representation of TradeStation through professionalism, courtesy, a commitment to surpassing client expectations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions and practices
The Skills You Bring:
- Prior experience in financial service sales or account management in the European Professional client segment (Hedge Funds, Family Offices, Asset Managers, Broker-Dealers, Wealth Managers, Proprietary Traders, HNWI)
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, with the proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics; self-generate Professional client leads; drive revenue growth; and meet sales targets
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, enabling you to project thought leadership and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization
- Collaborative Sales experience with a focus on actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to efficiently manage a sales pipeline and maintain a high standard of follow-up in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- In depth understanding of U.S. financial markets including Equities, Options, and Futures
- Knowledge of multiple (Institutional) electronic trading platforms and the competition in our industry
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify market trends and capitalize on business opportunities
- Collaborative mindset to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to drive solutions
- Background in electronic trading, algorithmic trading, and/or derivatives preferred
- Knowledge of FIX protocols, APIs, or other integration technologies preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Resident of The Netherlands
- French-language (Native), English-language (Fluent)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or financial industry professional certification
- 10+ years of financial service Sales experience to European Professional clients in France
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
- Dutch Securities Institute Certification (or obtainable within 60 days)
