Our interns are key players in our daily innovation and have the opportunity to make big contributions.  We use cutting edge technologies to provide our customers with state-of-the-art market analysis tools, order execution and educational resources.  Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment.

What We Are Looking For:

The IT Engineering team provides design, implementation, and support for all infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. As Tradestation continues to grow, the business and our customers require faster and more reliable changes while also adapting to new markets and technologies.  With this need, we need to develop more automated solutions and an infrastructure by code approach to reduce time to deployment and eliminate manual tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with projects to create automation scripts and playbooks to improve team efficiency.
• Use Machine learning to help in the automation of incidents’ root causes and/or postmortem analysis
• Implement AI systems that continuously learn from past incidents and improve their detection and response capabilities over time

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, IT, MIS or a related technical field
• Ability to pick up new programming/scripting languages quickly
• Working knowledge of IT and infrastructure

Desired Qualifications:

• Scripting languages suitable for automation (Powershell, Python, etc.)
• Experience with AI tools
