At TradeStation, our interns are key players in our daily innovation and have the opportunity to make big contributions. We use advance technologies to provide our customers with enhanced market analysis tools, order execution and educational resources. Intern projects include working in all phases of the Software Development Cycle in an Agile environment.
The Salesforce/CRM QA Intern will test new features and have the opportunity to automate a testing suite for our CRM solutions. The candidate will assist TradeStation in delivering high quality deliverables and designing/developing test frameworks, fixtures, and best practices. A passion for analysis and problem solving is required, along with some technical skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Ensure new Salesforce/CRM features are appropriately tested prior to release
- Understand how customers use Salesforce/CRM to write test cases that validate the customer’s expectations
- Identify, document, and track defects; verify defect fixes with test cases
- Champion software and code quality issues within the team and assist developers in writing quality test automations
- Create and manage automated testing suites including unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests
- Create, automate and execute test plans that generate artifacts to validate proper functioning of the app, and provide quality-related metrics

Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, business or related field
- Ability to translate user stories and requirements into test cases
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Salesforce Platform configuration and development
- Experience with Salesforce automated test tools (Apex Unit testing, Postman, Cypress)
- Experience with APIs
- Scripting languages suitable for automation (Powershell, Bash, Python, etc.)
- Continuous build integration tools (GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Source control management system (Git, SVN, Mercurial, etc.)
- Agile Development
