POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an accomplished financial services professional to lead our Strategic Alliances organization.  This position will be responsible for driving the overall business vision and execution for our multi asset class and product offering. This will include, but not be limited to management of global staff, prospecting, vetting, selling, on-boarding and maintaining third-party relationships with a focus on growing our API related business opportunities as well as traditional industry partnerships.  The candidate will be expected to expand our existing partnerships while pursuing new and unique opportunities both inside and outside of the financial services sector across a variety of geographical locales.   The candidate will be expected to work closely other business units such as Marketing, Retail Sales, TradeStation Technologies, TradeStation International, etc.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Understanding of the US and International Brokerage (Securities and Crypto), Fintech and Hedge Fund/Proprietary trading firm spaces including trends and new technology
  • Become a subject matter expert on “TradeStation as a Service”
  • Represent the firm and be the primary internal executive point of contact for all B2B relationships
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with external organizations and target partners 
  • Collaborate on product development and strategy roadmaps
  • Cultivate new pipelines for business development
  • Build and manage an effective and goal driven global sales team
  • Enforce and evolve current SOP’s and workflows
  • Deliver the highest level of support with extreme dedication to follow-up and organization
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented, and interactive environment
  • Maintain a positive representation of TradeStation through professionalism, courtesy, and by striving to exceed the partner’s expectations
  • Ensure compliance across all channels 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Deep understanding of the fintech/blockchain segment and a successful track record of business development opportunity assessment and recommendation
  • A passion for the Equities, Futures, Options and Crypto markets
  • Strong skills in team and project leadership, project management, executive presence and influencing, negotiating and strong communication
  • Strong understanding of coding and API integrations
  • Moderate to expert user of Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience managing senior level professionals and hitting aggressive goals
  • Ability to interact with the highest levels of organizations
  • Extensive knowledge of multiple trading platforms as well as the overall competitive landscape
  • Skilled in negotiation with a keen ability to understand deals that benefit the bottom line
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree required (MBA preferred)
  • 6-8 years of financial services experience (broker dealers, crypto exchanges, neobanks, etc.)
  • 7-10 years of sales, negotiating & customer onboarding experience
  • Strong technical background in Java, Python, C++, Ruby, blockchain, etc.
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Series 7, 63 & 3, 24 required
  • Additional licenses may be required as the role evolves
