We are currently seeking an Crypto Lending Sales Trader to work with our Cryptocurrency Lending team at TradeStation Crypto, Inc.  The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set and will be trained to identify assets that are in demand in the lending market, ensure that transactions are fully collateralized and that we operate within the risk parameters set for the business.   
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Identify and cultivate prospective counterparty relationships that meet TradeStation’s financial and risk parameters
  • Facilitate onboarding, management, and communication with prospective lending counterparties; manage all relevant documentation including financials; support the due diligence questionnaire process and create the framework for credit limit processes
  • Develop and maintain profitable trading book in accordance with TradeStation’s risk management policies and procedures
  • Ensure all lending trades are executed in a timely and orderly manner, best price and tenor is achieved, and counterparty credit limits are managed
  • Provide relevant market information, opinions, and trading options to internal business stakeholders
  • Ensure all actions are in accordance with TradeStation’s policy and procedures and with the regulators principles on good conduct and market integrity
  • Ensure the escalation of all operational concerns to senior management including, but not exclusively relating to, conflicts, counterparty related issues and other trading activities
  • Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence on supply and market trends and activities
  • Work with vendor to enhance existing platform and product offering
  • Operationalize and standardize new and existing policies, processes and procedures related to Crypto Lending
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of metrics and the business to make informed, data-driven decisions
  • Proactively drive impactful changes across workflows and tools by working with the sales, engineering, and product teams
  • Continuously add value through effective process management, prioritization and efficient execution
  • Work with leadership team to define and implement tracking for key business and operational metrics
  • Create the structure and cadence for reporting and forecasting
  • Provide support to Finance team to ensure their month-end close and financial reporting requirements are met
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify cross-product selling opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to establish an industry leading marketing campaign showcasing the firm’s capabilities and skills
  • Continuously assess and evaluate existing businesses and processes
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Demonstrate and articulate passion for and understanding of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of a wide range of financial instruments, products and technologies
  • Proven competencies in data analytics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a customer-focused, regulatory-awareness attitude
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle multiple, complex issues simultaneously and prioritize in demanding situations
  • Detail-oriented, results focused individual who can work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry
  • FINRA Licenses: Series 99 and 7 optional
