We are seeking a talented Education Communications Manager, to provide oversight for the communications for the registered broker dealer, Futures Commission Merchant and Money Service Business.  An intuitive professional with exceptional leadership and communication skills who will play an integral part in our education communication development and implementation process.
The Education Communication Manager is responsible for advising, reviewing, auditing, and approving TradeStation and its affiliated companies' educational content, including daily content, evergreen, video shorts, social media, blogs, and public appearances. Reporting directly to our VP of Education, and reporting to the compliance officer of the affiliated companies for regulated communications, this role's primary responsibility is to ensure accuracy of the educational content and adherence with compliance, legal, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines for the specific affiliated companies and their regulated businesses.  This role will be the supervising principal for all the education content business and communication processes.
  • Be a registered communication principal for the regulated communication for the Broker Dealer, FCM and Money Service businesses.
  • Advise, review, approve and audit educational communication content for the education team on the adherence of legal, compliance, and internal guidelines
  • Engage our legal and compliance teams in the content production process to ensure alignment with the business processes, registration statuses and content compliance
  • Provide quality assurance checks on content reviews to ensure content is aligned with the strategy of the companies and the marketing plans
  • Attend Educational communications and Marketing partners staff meetings to provide early guidance on parent company communications campaigns and PR strategies
  • Guide internal stakeholders and business owners on content compliance for projects and educational deliverables
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase the quality and scalability of educational content
  • Perform the supervisory functions and oversight for the regulated content and communications as a registered principal with the affiliated companies.
  • Meet with regulators as needed, and provide responses to regulatory inquiries for the communications produced, as needed.

  • 5-10 years working in content compliance or a related function  
  • 5-10 years leadership and management experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA or JD in Securities Law a plus)
  • 5-10 years of experience in digital education, PR, events, and media management
  • Financial services industry experience as a regulator or within compliance, audit, risk, marketing, or communication          
  • Licenses required: Series 7, 3, 4, 63, and 24
