Position Description:
Join the DevOps team supporting and testing our TradeStation Data Network Software and Data Integrity components. Essential job functions include:
  • Tier 2 and Tier 3 production support to maintain 24x7 uptime of our applications and the quality of the data in our systems.
  • Help perform systems integration tests with multi-tier applications integrating with our Data Network
  • Work with engineering teams in the U.S. and Japan to ensure system uptime, high availability, troubleshoot production issues and test other areas that may affect the stability of the TradeStation network software and/or integrity of data
  • You will perform automated, performance, load, and security tests. The position also includes the development and usage of test applications or test fixtures using C#, C++ or other tools. This also includes development of tools to better support our products. You will work in Lean Agile development process.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess experience in AWS, client/server/SQL based systems. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Visual Studio C++ is helpful and software testing experience is definitely a plus.
Candidates should also have some knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP and network connectivity protocols. To work on the Data Network Team, the candidate requires strong communication skills, being a team player that is assertive and goal-oriented, but who can also work on tasks as needed to achieve those goals without much supervision.
  • Position is regular shift, but will help maintain 24x7 uptime of our systems and applications
  • Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for our applications
  • Troubleshoot production issues
  • Deploy and validate changes in our production environments
  • Change management
  • Maintain stable and reliable test environments.
  • Coordinate software releases and verification in test, staging, and production environments
  • Participate system Integration testing of all code prior to release
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms
  • Documenting and reporting defects as well as creating and maintaining detailed test plans
  • Perform defect tracking
  • Day to day interaction and follow up throughout the development cycle
  • Working very closely with our teams in the US and Japan
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Technologies is desired
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, Microsoft SQL Server, C++, C#, or .NET is required
  • Scripting knowledge of VBScript, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell is desired
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to determine root causes of complex issues is required
  • Trading knowledge is preferred
